There are several ways to perform nipple-reduction surgery, often needed after the nipples have been elongated due to breast feeding. The most elegant approach is to remove a circumferential ring of skin from the base of the nipple, then to telescope the nipple onto itself, thereby preserving sensation and producing the most natural-looking result. This is the only approach that Dr. Weintraub takes for his nipple-reduction surgery.
