This patient had asymmetric fatty deposits of her abdomen, and excess sagging skin that no amount of diet or exercise would cure: once the abdominal skin loses its elasticity, nothing can restore it. Dr. Weintraub performed a tummy tuck and employed liposuction to remove the fat of the abdomen and flanks, recreating for this patient a waistline as well as an attractive, vertical bellybutton.
